Andes Central students who are members of the Hearty Helpers 4-H Club presented a grant opportunity to Andes Central teachers on October 9th.   This club is sponsoring 10-$200 grants for K-12th grade, SPED, and Title I teachers in the Andes Central School District & Platte-Geddes School District.  Focus should be in one of the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics.  Teachers must fill out an application and submit to the Hearty Helpers 4-H Club by October 31st.  Winners will be announced by November 15th.  This club raises money by doing concession stands at the rodeo's in Geddes over the summer.  These students wanted to give back to their teachers by providing them the opportunity to enhance their teaching/classrooms.  This is the second year the Hearty Helpers have provided this grant opportunity to Andes Central teachers.  Andes Central students that were involved are:  (Back row L-R) Cole Bergin, Lexi Schoenfelder, Riata Bultje, and Abigail Svatos.  (Front Row L-R) Marin Bultje, Callie Bergin, and Emery Bultje.
