Andes Central School Class of 2020 Senior Spotlight

Annamarie “Beans” Medicine Horn is the daughter of Dawn Jaeger and Tim Medicine Horn.  She was born September 20, 2001 in Yankton, South Dakota.  Her siblings are Amber Constance (29), Hayden Medicine Horn (21), and Tim Medicine Horn Jr (27).  Classes Annamarie took this year was Personal Finance, Government, Language Arts 12, Band, and Biology 2.  While in high school, she participated in 4 years of Volleyball, Student Council, & Band, and 3 years of Track & National Honor Society.  In Annamarie’s spare time, she enjoys video games and listening to music and is also employed with the City of Lake Andes.  One of Anna’s favorite childhood memories was hanging out on the farm and riding horse.  Her greatest strength is being helpful, while her greatest weakness is second guessing herself.  When asked what accomplishment she is most proud of, Annamarie said “Getting the Leadership Award at USD”.  Her favorite movie is Spirit, favorite TV show is American Horror Story, and favorite song and/or music group is One Man Band.  Annamarie’s favorite class is History and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Maynard because she has known her for a long time.  Annamarie’s most memorable moment was becoming Homecoming Queen and will miss the people she grew up with when she leaves high school.  Annamarie’s teachers would describe her as shy, quiet, smart, and kind.  Annamarie’s goal is to go to college to become a Veterinarian and will work hard to achieve her goals.  Anna’s friend, Aaron Hummel, would quote about her, “She can be annoying, but she is awesome!”

Congratulations Annamarie on your graduation & best wishes!
