Egg Drop

During our October STEM activities, our MS/HS students had to plan, create, and execute an egg drop.  Students had to build a contraption to prevent their egg from cracking when dropped from a tall cherry picker. Points were also earned by hitting a target.

We had awesome student involvement with fantastic ideas.  Students use clear plastic wrap, shoe boxes, water bottles, full peanut butter jars, packing bubbles, straws, string, balloons and other random items.

HS winning classroom was Mr. Holmes.

MS winning classroom was a tie between Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Altenberg.

Thank you, Mrs. Maynard and Mrs. Harrington for all of your hard work that goes into planning these activities.
