THE NATVIE AMERICAN CLUB

THE NATIVE AMERICAN CLUB IS A VISIBLE PRESENCE AND AN ACTIVE VOICE FOR ALL MEMBERS TO EMBRACE THEIR CULTURAL PRIDE!

THE PURPOSE OF THE NATIVE AMERICAN CLUB IS TO PROMOTE THE CULTURE THROUGH UNITY AND AWARENESS AT ANDES CENTRAL. THE CLUB IS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS! WE ENCOURAGE LEADERSHIP, HARMONY, AND RESPECT AMONG NATIVE AND NON-NATIVE AMERICANS. THE CLUB CELEBRATES NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURE AT ANDES CENTRAL SCHOOL, AS WELL AS IN THE LAKE ANDES COMMUNITY.

CLUB MEMBERS MUST ATTEND MEETINGS, PARTICIPATE IN FUNDRAISERS, AND HELP ORGANIZE ACTIVITIES IN ORDER TO ATTEND POW WOWS AND FIELD TRIPS.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE CULTURAL FIELD TRIPS, SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY TOURNAMENTS, BEADWORK, LANGUAGE REVITALIZATION, AND POW WOWS.

MEETINGS ARE SCHEDULED EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 12:00 PM IN ROOM 105.
