Beginning in October the preschool students started their study of trees. We went on a nature walk where we talked about parts of trees, who may live in trees and different kinds of trees we see. On our walk, students found interesting items from trees and brought them back to the classroom to explore and observe. Students also created their own trees and discussed the different parts. We will later be adding different animals that may live in a tree. PK students also played math games, counting acorns, leaves, etc.
