5A had some holiday writing fun! 🎄✏️
Students wrote quick story starters using holiday-themed words, then rotated papers a few times to add on to their classmates’ ideas. The room was filled with creativity and lots of laughter, and the final stories were so fun to read—what a great way to celebrate the season! 🎄📚

The Platte-Geddes DH Basketball game that was postponed from December 13th has been rescheduled to January 26th @ Platte. JV boys & girls @ 5:15pm, V girls @ 6:30pm, followed by V boys.
The 5th graders wrapped up the first semester with lots of laughter by pie-ing their teacher, Ms. Reck! Students earned this sweet (and messy) reward by reading 10 or more chapter books since the start of the school year!
The first graders in Mrs. Herrold's class had a wonderful time decorating gingerbread houses this week.
