Today, the 155th Engineering Company of the South Dakota National Guard was activated in Wagner by Governor Larry Rhoden for a deployment to the southwest border for approximately one year.
Andes Central School would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the guardsmen for their service, dedication, and sacrifice in serving our country. We are especially proud of Jared Swanson and Hunter Loeffler, as they serve our country as members of the 155th.
Please keep all these brave men and women in our thoughts as they begin this mission. We wish them safety, strength, and a safe return home to their families and loved ones.
