Mr. Clint Nelson, Andes Central Elementary Principal, was honored as the Innovative Leader of the Year. Congratulations to Claire & Nevaeh, as they are recipients of the 2024 South Dakota Track and Field Academic All-State! To qualify, recipients must be a senior, have a 3.5 GPA or higher, compete in that sport for at least three years, and be nominated by their coach.

On Friday, AC/DC Thunder Golf team traveled to Mitchell for Pre-Region Golf, where Abigail took home 1st place! Yesterday, the golf team went back to Mitchell for Region Golf, where Abigail placed 4th and Danica placed 12th. Both Abigail and Danica qualified for the State Tournament in Brookings which will be held June 2nd-4th. Great job AC/DC Thunder Golf & good luck at the state tournament!

AC/DC Girls Golf Team traveled to Springfield on May 10th, where Abigail took home 1st place for the meet and 1st place for the Great Plains Conference ! On May 13th the golf team went to Burke where she took home 2nd place. Congrats Abigail on a great job!

Andes Central MS/HS Semester Tests will be Friday, May 10th and Monday, May 13th. Tuesday, May 14th students will turn in computers and sign out. School will dismiss @ 12:30pm.
