
Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, the Andes Central Weight Room/Fitness Center will be closed until further notice. Thank you.


During the Andes Central School closure, we will be providing a free meal program for any child 18 years and younger, as well as learning packets for PK-12th grade AC students. Please contact the school with any questions or go to our website/mobile app for updates. Thank you.



Andes Central will also be providing weekly learning packets for students PK-12th grade to be picked up by parents/students beginning Monday, March 23rd at the main entrance from 11:30am-3pm. Parents will also be able to contact teachers by email or calling the school.


Per the governor's recommendation concerning COVID-19, school will be closed March 23rd-27th. Free meals will be provided Monday-Friday from 11:30am-Noon for any child 18 yrs and under. Please go to our website or mobile app for details on this program - Menu-ACS COVID-19 Plan.

This is a reminder that school will be closed March 16-20. The weight room will also be closed Monday March 16-Tuesday, March 17, so that it can be cleaned. Those who have weight room memberships won't be able to use it during this time. Thank you.


Andes Central School will be closed next week, March 16th-20th per recommendation from Govenor Noem. Classes will resume on Monday, March 23rd.

On Tuesday, Mrs. Lhotak took 8th grade girls to Mitchell for the Women in Science Conference @ MTI. Some of the businesses/careers they learned about was Avera Occupational Therapy, Northwestern Energy, Animal Science, Horizen Health, SD BIT, LPN, and Radiology Services.

AC/DC had a Pep Rally for the Boys to cheer them on to victory tonight vs Kimball/White Lake. Good Luck Thunder!

Celebrating Read Across America Day/Dr Seuss Day at Andes Central!





AC/DC Thunder Boys Basketball team will be hosting Kimball/White Lake tonight in Lake Andes @ 7pm for the Region 6B Tournament. Come out to support Thunder Basketball!


Today is Read Across America Day/Dr. Seuss Day. Andes Central PK-12 grade students will be participating by reading books to each other. In addition to reading Dr. Seuss books, the reading promotion's new focus is on diverse books. Watch for more pictures throughout the day!





The MS boys basketball team ended their season with a tournament in Avon today. Congrats on a great year AC/DC Thunder!




Today for FFA Week was Hat Day! Anyone who wore a hat donated $1 to Andes Central FFA.
