Parent/Teacher Conferences will be Thurs, Feb 13th from 4-7pm and Fri, Feb 14th from 9am-12pm. Students will dismiss @ 2:40pm on Thurs, Feb 13th. There will be no school for students on Friday, Feb 14th and Monday, Feb 17th for President's Day.

I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream. Andes Central is also screaming for the junior class! When their grade check was run last week, EVERYONE was passing EVERY class. We are proud! Keep up the great work juniors!
The first graders in Mrs. Hellenga's class practiced for the spelling bee by playing spelling basketball. If students spelled a word correctly, they got a point and were able to shoot a basket for a second point. The students had so much fun while practicing their spelling words.
Mrs. Maynard's Physics class is studying how elevators affect weight and normal forces. Thank you to Mel for running the lift for the class.

Today the kids in Mrs. H's preschool classroom played a fun game called "Race To Fill The Cup" This was a great way to practice counting and to help with one-to-one correspondence. It also helped us practice taking turns and being kind whether you win or lose.
The U.S. History students in Mrs. Johnson’s class were learning about and discussing John Adam’s presidency including topics such as the XYZ Affair.

Miss Ekroth's second grade class learned about the Founding Fathers in Studies Weekly. This week's lesson focused on each Founding Father and their important contributions to U.S. history. The class was able to create their own Classroom Constitution and practice their "John Hancock."
