8th graders are learning about their interests and how to strengthen them in Mrs. Wilbur’s CASE class. They interviewed a classmate about one of their interests to learn more.
Mr. Cole Johnson's 7th grade classes participated in a fun game of BINGO while reviewing and preparing for interim assessment. This is important to become more readily prepared for the state test. Students had a blast!

The preschool class started the new year learning about buildings. We are talking about the planning stages through every part of the building stage. In Mrs. Derry's classroom, our dramatic play area has been turned into a construction zone. Where we have big blocks that resemble bricks, and the students love building towers with these blocks. We have used small blocks as well to make buildings during circle time to learn how to describe what we built. Last week, we drew pictures of our homes and talked about the shapes that we use to make buildings. This week we are building on our light table and learning about the tools workers use while creating buildings.
State wrestling tickets are available for purchase. At this time, only the All-Session tickets can be purchased. There will be no refunds on any ticket orders. The All-Session Adult ticket cost is $50 and the All-Session student ticket cost is $30. Please contact Erica Svatos at 487-7671 if you have any questions. Mark, from the IHS Diabetes Prevention Program has been coming in once a month to teach Mrs. Swanson's third graders about making healthy eating choices and incorporating exercise into their daily routine.
Due to the weather conditions, we will have a 10am start tomorrow, January 21st. We will have Preschool. Breakfast will not be served.

The 5th grade class is a part of a 4-week global reading competition called the Read Bowl. To kick off the competition they spent 25 minutes independently reading.
6th grade Art Class is starting off the semester with beadwork. Students are working rosette, round peyote stitch, and loom beading.
The 4th grade class worked in teams during a review game to help strengthen their math skills.
