Students in Mrs. Kitchenmaster's kindergarten class played Addition Crossout.  They practiced addition by rolling their favorite "dice in dice" to get the sum.  The person to cross out the last number was  the winner!

Mr. Sheppard's 9th Grade Language Arts students presented a ten-step process to the class, explaining how to do a specific skill or task. Students excelled in this opportunity to teach their peers while developing notes for an upcoming expository essay assignment.

Three students represented Andes Central at the Regional Vocal Contest held in Kimball on February 5th. Emery performed “Greensleeves” and received a Superior or a I; Madilyn performed “A Poor Wayfaring Stranger” and received a Superior or a I; Taylor performed “The Water is Wide” and received an Excellent or a II. The judges for the event were the vocal professors from Dakota Wesleyan University and Augustana University. They had very impressive and important feedback to help with leadership and performance. Congratulations Emery, Madilyn, and Taylor on your performances!
