
The medley relay record was broken by Tate, Kruze, Ruger, and Apollo on Monday, May 5, at the JH Track Meet in Wagner. They ran 1:55.54. (previous record 2:06.21). Congrats!!!

NHS held their 1st Annual End-of-the-Year celebration luncheon where they recognized seniors and incoming officers.
Congratulations to Emery, AJ, and Mahpiya for all graduating as Distinguished Members of NHS earning their NHS Collar.

Elementary students had the opportunity to take a field trip to North Point last week!









Ms. Kaiser's English classes are wrapping up the school year with NWEA Testing and Final Projects. For Final Projects, students have a choice of making a presentation, photo journal, podcast, or an essay over their morals and values. If students don't want to talk about themselves, they also have the option of reading a novel and taking a quiz over it instead.

Mr. Brevan Hooks' Elementary PE class is participating in their final stations for the year!


The first graders in Mrs. Hellenga’s class have been learning about the life cycle of butterflies. They have been observing the caterpillars growing and forming their chrysalises. Each day, they writing about their observations. They are anxiously waiting for the butterflies to emerge from their chrysalises.




Students in Miss Keizer's Psychology Class wrap up their unit over Developmental Psychology by observing the physical, social and cognitive changes that occur in adulthood thru old age. Afterwards, students reflected on lifestyles and habits that could cause shorter lived lives if healthier lifestyles are not adopted.


To wrap up the year in Mrs. Johnson's 6th Grade class, students are learning about the medieval times of England.



Mrs. Maynard’s classroom attended the Missouri River Watershed Festival in Yankton, SD where students leaned about the Missouri River.








Encouragement from others can help increase confidence so the 8th grade CASE class is working on posters to hang in the halls to help give students the confidence to finish the year strong.

Mrs. H's preschool class has been exploring insects. They have been having fun searching for and discussing them. This week we have been learning about how insects change. We made caterpillars and we painted wings to change them into butterflies.

2nd graders have been working hard this year on improving their reading skills. This week in Reading Interventions, students read 100 sight words, read long-vowel decodable stories, and used letter tiles to spell words with vowel pairs.
