2nd and 4th grade celebrated the 100th day of school together. The students had to solve the mystery of who stole the pencil sharpener. In order to do this each group had to complete a task to get a clue. Everyone in each group had to complete the task before their group was given the clue. At the end of the five tasks, they had enough information to solve the mystery if they correctly interpreted it. The students had a great time with this activity that promoted teamwork and higher order thinking.

On January 22, Middle School students participated in an incentive during advisory period. Mrs. Altenburg took a group of students to the gym to play basketball. The criteria to participate included: all assignments completed for all classes, no tardies, and good behavior. Some students participated in other activities and a homework room. We plan to offer this incentive a couple of times a month.
