The 3rd Annual NHS Winter Activity Day will be Saturday, December 14th, from 10am-12pm in the Commons! Bring a personal hygiene item to donate as your admission to the winter wonderland!

Mr. Watkins 6th grade Science Class had their Hot Wheels race after finishing the section on energy and motion. The 8th grade also finished their lesson on motion and force with their Hot Wheels race.

4th Grade has been working hard at mastering equivalent fractions and how to order and compare them.
Geometry students are working on their quiz over preforming reflections, translations, and rotations on geometric shape. There are multiple ways to preform each transformation by hand, with mira, or patty paper.

Last week, 3rd grade learned about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. They created their own balloons using tin foil. Such a fun project!
Some of Mrs. Altenburg's 8th Grade ELA students presented a 4-day school week power point to the Andes Central School Board at the November meeting.
Andes Central Student Council is having a Little Caesars fundraiser. Orders are due December 13th.

Students participated in the Voice of Democracy by writing an essay on a patriotic theme and expressing what democracy means to them. The local VFW District 7 Post completed their judging of the essays. Commander Merritt Stegmeier, representing the VFW, awarded Madeline D. with 1st place and Madilyn J. with second place. Their essays will go on to the state level for judging. Congrats Madeline & Madilyn!
