The junior class raised money for their After Prom at Turkey Bingo this weekend. They also collected donations of non-perishable food items for the local food pantry. Thank you to everyone who came & supported.
On October 28-31st, the Andes Central FFA members embarked on a bus ride to Indianapolis, Indiana for the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo. On day 1 we met new people on the bus, stopped at an elk farm on the way, and checked into our hotel. On day 2 we attended a session at Lucas Oil Stadium and visited the booths at the expo center. On day 3 we attended a visit at a shrimp farm, went to top golf, and then went to a haunted house. On day 4 we began our day by visiting the expo center, then began our drive back, and visited the Worlds Largest Truck Stop. We would like to thank our sponsors because the Andes Central FFA chapter could not have had this amazing opportunity without the support from our sponsors.

Students in Miss Leber’s 4th grade ELA classes have been having fun practicing their spelling words! They’ve been using the triangle writing method, starting with one letter and adding a new letter on each line until they build the whole word. They’re also getting ready for their spelling tests by doing activities that help them say and spell their words out loud!

Mrs. Swanson's 3rd Graders are sharpening their math skills in a fun and engaging way—using a deck of cards! Students practiced their multiplication and addition facts by turning over two cards and solving the equation. This hands-on activity helps build fluency, quick thinking, and confidence with basic math facts, all while making learning feel like a game!
In Ms.Reck's 5th grade Language Arts class, the students are wrapping up their writing project. The students chose to write a letter to a famous person, their favorite NFL team, or their best friend.
