Both kindergarten classes enjoyed acting out the book Pooh's Easter Egg Hunt where Winnie the Pooh lost his Easter eggs as soon as he found them. After Piglet discovered the hole in the basket, everyone shared the Easter eggs and honey. The students did an excellent job saying each character's lines and finding the right colored eggs.

Chemistry class experimenting with thermodynamics and Hess's Law
The HS track meet in Gregory scheduled for tomorrow, has been moved to Friday, April 10th.
To introduce the Interview Unit in Speech class, Ms. Kaiser brought her students to Ms. Leber's 4th grade classroom. Speech students asked 4th graders questions ranging from their daily routine to their dreams and goals. It was fun and engaging for everyone!

Reminder: Tomorrow, April 4th is the Easter Carnival from 11am-1pm at the Andes Central Aux Gym.
The 4th graders had a day full of “egg”-citing activities on Wednesday. They started off with a math egg hunt, then watched 2 of our chicks hatch out of their shells. 4a ended the day with egg coloring at the nursing home!

Congratulations to Luke, Callie, and Marin, as their Horse Judging Team qualified for State FFA in Brookings!
Mr. Winter's classes are hard at work with many activities - The 6th graders are working on pottery & mask making; Some of the Multimedia Design students are working on incorporating star patterns, that the student body submitted, into murals for the nest; Nettlynn has made a ribbon skirt; The painting class is working on impasto painting. The sculpture class is in the middle of a clay/ceramics unit.
Students in Ms. Keizer's psychology class gave presentations to their peers about different sleep disorders.
Reminder: There will be no school Friday, April 3rd & Monday, April 6th for Easter Break.
Congratulations to Taylor, who was inducted into the Andes Central Chapter of the National Honor Society this year!
Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day. We would like to to recognize the Andes Central Para's for their dedication and commitment to the students and the District. Thank you for all you do! We appreciate you!
