On Tuesday, Andes Central High School students participated in a safety course covering hands-on CPR, hands-on choking, using an AED, and Narcan education. Special thanks to the ladies from Avera St.Benedict's who took time out of their day to train us.

Last week, Miss Leber’s class enjoyed reading Dr. Seuss books in their PJs while taking advantage of the beautiful March weather in the outdoor classroom! 📚☀️ Students loved relaxing outside with some of their favorite stories. It was a fun and cozy way to celebrate reading together!

Mrs. Swanson's 3rd graders had a fun way to end Read Across America Week! 📚🔦 Students enjoyed flashlight reading, curling up with a good book and reading by flashlight around the classroom. It was a cozy and exciting way to celebrate our love of reading!

AC students have the opportunity to participate in this year's Missoula Children's Theatre. Auditions will be after school on Monday, March 9th from 3:45pm-5:45pm in the main gym. Permission forms were sent home with elem students. MS/HS students can pick up the form in the office. Please fill out & return the permission form if you would like your child to participate. Due to the weather forecast, the Region boys basketball games scheduled for tonight have been rescheduled to tomorrow, March 7th. Lyman vs Corsica-Stickney will start @ 5pm; AC/DC vs Lower Brule will start @ 6:30pm; Games will be at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.

Ms. Kaiser's afternoon classes took advantage of the nice weather and utilized the outdoor classroom. The students enjoyed getting some fresh air while getting some final third quarter work done.
